Removing and Replacing the Developer Frame

1. Before removing the developer frame:

• Disconnect the A/C power cable from the back of the system.
• Press the front latch, and then rotate open the inner duplex assembly.
• Rotate open the imaging drum cover.
• Remove the top cover.
• Remove the toner cartridges.
• Remove the top cover frame.
• Remove the left side cover.
• Remove the HVPS.

 2. Disconnect the cable connected to the top of the developer frame.

3. Press the dispenser hose release tabs, and then disconnect the toner hoses from the developer frame.

NOTE: Cover all surfaces before removing the hoses and keep the ends of the hoses pointed upward to avoid toner spillage.

4. Lift the developer frame up and out of the chassis, and then place it in an upright position on a clean flat surface.

CAUTION: Keep the developer frame assembly in an upright position and set it on a covered surface, to avoid excess toner spillage and contamination during the removal and replacement procedure.

5. Reverse the previous steps to replace the developer frame.
